Description

Study of Trees (2024) is a contemplative exploration of nature’s quiet wisdom—an ode to the trees that stand imperfect yet proud beneath the open summer sky. This 13×18” mixed media collage brings together handmade papers, acrylic inks, textured fabrics, ribbon, trim, and even sealing wax to evoke the layered essence of time spent in stillness.

Gold foil, stamps, clear gloss, and soft glitter add light and movement, while leveling gel grounds the work in tactile dimension. Each element mirrors the natural asymmetry of tree trunks, branches, and shadows—reminding us that true beauty is found not in perfection, but in presence.
